Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Remember be ready for January 2, 2025 by making sure your list is checked off.
- Close out the Year.
- Run production provider reports to go over the codes you used for treatment and find out which could be added or updated.
- In activate your codes that are no longer valid for 2025.
- Make sure your software is updating the New Codes or you can do that now.
- Before you forget to end the year set goals for the New Year.
- Take some courses to bring you up to speed on many changes that are happening.
- If you provide dental claims for patients to the following plans make sure you have the ICD-10-Codes to match the treatment on each insurance claim.
- Blue Cross all Federal Workers, Veterans, and some Enhanced Plans.
- Medicare Advantage Plans
- Medicaid Plans
- Some Delta Plans
- Insurance plans that have the enhanced benefits for patients to have four hygiene visits that have health problems are adding this for billing.
- Hygiene must be using the Staging and Grading to be bill all hygiene.
- Some of us forget to make sure we train each other so save some time at the beginning of the year to start the year off with each of you on the same path. We need each other and must find ways to work together and have fun!
