HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026

A Fresh Start for a New Year and the Best Reason to Join Us at Insurance Extravaganza

To friends new and longtime, welcome to a new year.

Change is part of every January, and if we are honest, it usually comes with stress. After the holidays, most of us are already tired of adjusting. New rules. New systems. New expectations. It can feel like a lot.

That is exactly why we are bringing the Insurance Extravaganza to you in February this year.

This event is not about adding more to your plate. It is about giving you the time, space, and support to understand what is changing and how to handle it with confidence. For two full days, you are surrounded by speakers, educators, and industry experts who are there to help you prepare, not overwhelm you.

And yes, we take learning seriously, but we also believe in enjoying the experience. We spend time together. We share meals. We laugh. We give away great gifts from our vendor partners. Most importantly, the vendors at this event are not just there to sell. They are dental business and education specialists who care about the same thing you do, helping practices run better.

What you will gain from this year’s Insurance Extravaganza

This year’s event is packed with real-world tools you can use immediately in your office.

Here is just a snapshot of what you will walk away with.

Smarter technology that works for you

Many of our vendor partners are bringing AI tools designed to support dental billing and patient education. You will see how AI can help explain X-rays to patients in clear, simple language, making treatment conversations easier and more effective.

Faster claims and faster payments

We will cover the latest insurance process improvements that help offices submit claims more efficiently, reduce rework, and shorten the time it takes to get paid.

Better human resource systems

You will learn about HR platforms that make it easier to track employee records, time off, performance reviews, and compliance, all in one organized place.

System upgrades that save time

Get updates on computer and practice management system enhancements that help your team work faster with fewer clicks and less confusion.

Virtual assisting support

Virtual assisting is becoming a game changer for many practices. Learn how it can help reduce paperwork, streamline workflows, and take pressure off your in-office staff.

Updated forms that protect your practice

We will share current, compliant forms every office should be using to protect against legal and operational risks.

Stronger collaboration with medical providers

Learn how to build referral relationships with physicians that bring new patients into your practice and strengthen your role in whole-patient care.

A new way to talk about dentistry with patients

More dentists are learning how to position each visit around health benefits, not just pain management. This shift changes how patients see dentistry and increases trust in your recommendations.

Fun, connection, and real appreciation

You will enjoy:

  • Thoughtful meals and time to connect with peers
  • A supportive, energizing environment
  • And yes, amazing vendor gifts and raffles throughout the event

Because learning should feel rewarding, not exhausting.

Big changes in billing and reimbursement are coming

This year also marks a major shift in how oral health is being recognized across the healthcare system.

CMS has officially added an oral health incentive to its Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) as part of the 2026 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule. That is not a small update. It is a signal that oral health is no longer being treated as separate from overall patient care.

Here is what that means in real terms.

The Merit-Based Incentive Payment System adjusts Medicare reimbursements based on provider performance, rewarding physicians for quality care and better patient outcomes. Starting January 1, 2026, physicians can now integrate oral healthcare into this payment system.

To qualify, physicians must:

  • Complete training through the Smiles for Life online curriculum
  • Take at least one step to integrate oral health into their practice, such as:
    • Building a dental referral network
    • Adding oral health questions to patient intake forms
    • Performing basic intraoral screenings

This is a turning point.

For dental practices, it opens the door to stronger collaboration with medical providers, more consistent referrals, and a bigger role in whole-patient care. For office managers, it means new conversations around workflows, documentation, and coordination that will directly impact patient volume and long-term growth.

These are not changes you want to navigate alone.

Why this makes the Insurance Extravaganza more important than ever

Between CDT 2026 updates, expanding medical billing opportunities, and now federal incentives that formally connect oral health to medical quality programs, the expectations on dental offices are rising fast.

The Insurance Extravaganza gives you a place to:

  • Understand what these changes really mean
  • Learn how to position your practice within this new landscape
  • Build relationships with experts who can help you implement, not just theorize
  • Leave with clarity instead of confusion

This event is not about adding more to your workload. It is about giving you the tools to manage change with confidence and lead your team forward.

Start the year with direction, not stress

The new year always brings change. This year, it also brings opportunity.

The Insurance Extravaganza exists so you do not have to face that change alone. For two days, you will be surrounded by people who understand your challenges and are committed to helping you succeed, not just survive.

We look forward to welcoming you, learning with you, and starting 2026 on the strongest footing possible.
