Medicare Advantage Information

Medicare Advantage plans, also known as Medicare Part C, are offered by private companies that contract with Medicare to provide Part A (hospital insurance) and Part B (medical insurance) benefits and may include coverage for preventive dental services and certain restorative services. Dentists who opt out of Medicare cannot receive payment for treating patients covered by Medicare Advantage plans. Patients may not file their own claims for dental reimbursement if their dentist has opted out of Medicare.
